Ryan Conrath
A filmmaker, actor, and aspiring critic, Ryan jumps back and forth between Boston, Rochester, NY, and Fort Myers, FL. He received his B.A. in Film Studies from Eckerd College in 2006 and his MFA in Film Production from Boston University in 2009. He will attend the University of Rochester's Graduate Program in Visual and Cultural Studies in fall 2009.
Ryan is the recipient of the Freeman Grant for East Asian Studies, which allowed him to travel to China and study its film culture and navigate among its community of scholars. His interests lie specifically in the structural filmmakers of the 60s and 70s. But he is really curious about all film.

Zoe Friedman
Zoe is a visual artist who specializes in mixed media installations and community projects.
She lived in Malaysia for a year doing a Fulbright, then wandered around San Francisco. Now she lives in Baltimore where she teaches art classes, works in a cafe, makes art, and is starting a business.
She received her B.A. in Visual Arts and Spanish from Eckerd College in 2007.

Joe Haley
Joe is a poet and scholar whose principal interests are 19th & 20th-Century poetry, urbanism, and technology. He founded the Avatar Collective in December, 2008.
He was a 2008 recipient of the Fulbright ETA Fellowship to Malaysia, where he taught English at an Islamic school and gathered material for a documentary film about Malay-Muslim youth culture. He has also been a teacher for special-needs students in Florida and California.
He received his B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from Eckerd College and is currently enrolled in the English Ph.D. program at Johns Hopkins University.
